EGB Blinkers and Spinners About Colour Patterns

201 - Black and Gold Side Stripe

and Walleye.

Awesome EGB lure, aka "blinker".  Works especially well where perch are present as bait fish for Speckled Trout, Lake Trout, Pike,

Front side is half black oxide and half gold striped in a partial chevron covering the front with silver plate on the other half with red dots. The dots simulate an injured blood letting area of a bait fish.
This pattern works well for all game fish where black is a color in the food chain of the species sought. We particularly have good luck with this pattern in areas where perch are present. The hand applied genuine silver omits a diffused flash that is more realistic than commercially applied silvers that are so bright they may spook unsuspecting prey.

Silver

Front of the egb lure is plated with genuine silver with red dots which simulate blood of the injured bait fish. The silver is applied by hand and yet bright, but it is not startlingly bright as many commercial applied chromes and nickels may appear.

The EGB silver lure is more realistic to the fish than other silvers. This is a very good shad and minnow imitation where silver is the dominant color. This pattern is particularly effective for trout, pike and walleye and is probably our best pattern for those ultra bright sunny days.

Black and Gold

The front of this pattern is gold and black oxide with red dots. The back of this pattern is our only pattern with silver on the back along with black.

This is one of our favorite patterns for brook (speckled) trout in the northeastern Canada provinces. It is also an excellent deep troller for makinaw (lake trout) where suckers are their primary forage.

This is also an excellent pattern for those cloudy days and also works well when crayfish are a staple.

Gold and Silver

All EGBs' are made of brass except this pattern. The 204 is manufactured from copper and gets its color from same. The front of this pattern is half copper and half silver with red dots.

This is a favorite of many and is a consistent producer for a variety of species. We have found the copper very effective for trout, pike and smallmouth.

Silver Black Gold Stripe

The 205 has two black, two silver and one gold stripe with red dots. This is our pattern of choice used at our favorite trout lake, Spinney Mountain Reservoir in Park County, CO. At Spinney we consistently out fish other hardware users with the 205.

The two black stripes on the 205 have a color resemblance to the scuds so prevalent in these waters. This pattern has will also produce in a variety of waters.

Black and Silver

Our 206 is essentially a 202 with a shadow. The half-black front of the 206 combined with the flash of the silver makes this an excellent silhouette presence. In the game fish world often the predator instinctually reacts to movement and silhouette of its prey. The 206 will work for all gamefish and is really an excellent pattern.

This colorless lure will out fish any lure of color without a specific use.

Gold and Silver

This lure has a beautiful finish with half-polished brass and genuine silver with red dots. This gold and silver appearing lure will work well in many waters.

Carp, shad and many other species of minnows are readily copied by the 207. The blood red dots give the appearance of an injury.

Killer Bee

Black and gold stripes are the order for the Killer Bee. This pattern works well on dark days. This also works in waters where the forage base are suckers, carp, crayfish and other dark colored species.

Yellow Green Gradient

Also known as the "Perch" pattern, the 300 is a favorite of many anglers. While very popular among walleye enthusiast, we have had rave reviews for many other species.

It out-produces other patterns for pike in Montana and works great for trout, too. The 300 is also a great producer for a variety of warm water species to include crappie, bass, walleye and pickerel.

Yellow Blue Gradient

Our newest pattern was brought about by the successes we enjoyed with other spinner patterns. This spinner is handpainted in blue and white.

This pattern works when other patterns do not. It is a viable alternative for your arsenal.

Red and Blue Stripe

Also known as the "Rainbow" pattern, the  Red and Blue Stripe is a red and blue strip with a silver center and black dots. This pattern is designed to trigger reaction for all those species that may feed on stocker rainbow trout (which could include lunker bass, walleye, pike and trout).

Sunrise

The Sunrise is a translucent red fading to gold. This color is available when you need it for murky or dark waters, or when exploring.

This is particularly effective for fall brown trout.

The 340 is available only in our biggest spoon, the size 7 (3/4 oz., ~22 grams).

The spoon EGB lure is first plated with genuine silver then bright orange stripes are applied to the edges. This spoon was designed for the king salmon, but works equally well for steelhead, lake trout and pike.

Green and Silver Salmon Lure
